SIGS

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) represent one of the many ways to grow professionally and personally, to network, learn new trends and industry directions, and to take useful information back to your organization. SIG groups meet separately from the regular NFASTD chapter meetings.

SIG events are free to members of the chapter.

Coaching SIG

Well into its third year, The Experience Coaches SIG meets every other month for two hours in member homes.  There is always time to bring a need your peers can help with, and usually a scheduled topic to prepare some thoughts about.  Topics have included our individual coaching models, maximizing questions, and differences in coaching/mentoring, etc.  RSVP is needed for attendance at meetings, and roles for facilitator, host, and dessert provider rotate!  Contact:  Jackie Stroh, Clarion Call LLC,  jackiestroh2@aol.

Technology and Training SIG

The Technology and Training SIG is a new network being formed in 2010 for individuals with an interest in e-learning and discovering more hands-on practical ways to implement online learning in their organizations. Individuals share their knowledge and experiences on trends, ideas and best practices in the e-learning industry.
