The Niagara Frontier Chapter is an independently-incorporated, nonprofit organization that is affiliated with ASTD. Our chapter is over 140 members strong and represents many different industries including but not limited to healthcare, manufacturing, retail, banking, insurance, sales & marketing, education, not-for-profits, as well as independent consultants, and students. This mix affords many opportunities for our members to network and collaborate on a variety of different projects. A good number of our members are also National ASTD members.

I hope this eblast finds everyone well and enjoying this beautiful summer!  I consider it a tremendous honor to serve as your president for the 2010-2011 year.  The Board and I are committed to our chapter being the “go to” organization for workplace learning and performance within the WNY community.

As we planned for 2010, we took into account your needs per our membership survey and various correspondences we received from YOU!  You will see that we have an action-packed year planned with great monthly programs already in place, and various special interest groups to help meet the needs of our growing membership.  Please check our chapter calendar for the latest program information.

I also wanted to share some exciting things we have happening:

Programs:

• For the first time we are offering an even bigger discount on program pre-registration.  As a member, if you register for the September, October and November programs together before September 9^th you will only pay $50!  That is a savings of $10!  These are 3 great programs and you won’t want to miss any of them!  To register now, see the September event page!
• We have received some “door prizes” from ASTD National to raffle off at our September and October programs…you won’t want to miss your chance!
• SAVE THE DATE!  We have the dates of our programs posted on the website so you can plan in advance…check back for more details regarding titles and presenters!  This is one year of programs you are not going to want to miss!
